If you knew tomorrow was your last day, how would you spend it? What thoughts would you have, what last minute conversations would you have with your children? Probably nothing would be said that had not been said before.
I would sit, in my garden and enjoy every second. Hopefully, it would not be torrental downpour in 30° weather.
I would write letters to my friends saying how much loved them.
I would say to my children:
Remember, I will be here as long as you hold me in your memory.
I love you more than I can express.
Make me proud, I will be watching.
Make yourself proud.
Be true to yourself, be happy.
Be honorable, hear your heart.
Remember what I taught you.
Be strong, you are my child,
You are John Stevens' grandchild.
You know what to do, do it right.
Remember me.
